Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScreenLoom's website and digital signage platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Digital signage for events and permanent spaces. ScreenLoom is in early access, welcoming both pilot projects and live deployments while development continues. Apps for Android, Windows, Linux. Other devices can use the browser player.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Display content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringe on any intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload to ScreenLoom. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Payment and Billing

  • €5 per screen per month, excluding VAT. No free plan or trial period. No minimum subscription term.
  • Pay through Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer. Only Stripe subscriptions renew automatically. PayPal and bank transfer payments are made manually.
  • New screens are charged only for the remaining time until the end of the calendar month. A removed screen remains paid until month-end, with no credit or refund for unused time; the billing change starts the following month.
  • Already-paid amounts are not refunded on cancellation. This does not limit any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
  • €100 excluding VAT per event, with unlimited screens: 30 days of preparation from activation, followed by 10 days for the event. If your conference runs longer, contact us for an individual extension quote based on the duration you need. Extensions are arranged with us and are not automatic.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenLoom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

Request account closure in the admin panel or by email to contact@screenloom.com. An email request only takes effect once you receive our confirmation. Access continues until the end of your already-paid period, then stops.

Within 24 hours after access ends, we email a ZIP archive containing your original uploaded files and account information, including screens, playlists, schedules and settings. After the ZIP archive has been sent successfully, customer data is permanently deleted from the system, except records we are legally required to retain.

At the end of the paid Event Pass period, account and screen access stops. The same ZIP export and data-deletion process applies as for a monthly subscription.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
